Conversationally Speaking by Alan Garner
Required reading.
If you do not get this book and put it into practice, you're not giving yourself a chance. Even the most accomplished conversationalist will benefit from this book. Shy and tentative people will find it life changing. The chapters are short and easy to read with practical advice. I only touched on the basics of talking easily with anyone. This book gives you a more complete lesson. It will pay off in all aspects of your life. I am not affiliated with the author in any way. I just happen to believe that is is one of the most important books you can read. Nobody teaches this skill but it is one of the most important skills anyone can have.
